Mandate of Linking Aadhaar with PAN
The bio metric identifier Aadhaar & PAN are to be linked as mandated by the Income Tax Department for Income Tax Return Filing.
Apart from linking the Aadhaar with PAN Income tax department has also launched an online facility to correct errors in names and other details in permanent account number (PAN) and Aadhaar document.
