MCA granted ROC filing extension

Good News from Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) today that it has decided to give an extension to the Annual ROC filing deadline from Oct 31st 2018 to Dec 31st 2018.

After much representation

This came up after many representations from several Company Secretaries, and The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) to postpone the last date due to various reasons. One being the postponement of the last date for annual income tax returns prone to tax audit, and the second due to technical issues during pre-scrutiny in XBRL Validation Tools causing extensive delays.
